Description:

Our client, Oakland County, is looking for a Server/Storage Administrator to work on File Share project requiring extensive knowledge to configure, install, document, and operate Windows File and Storage Services utilizing SAN Storage.

Tasks

Data analysis.
Designing solutions.
Writing up technical requirements.
Testing and implementing technology solutions.
Conducting research.
Creating procedures to improve the existing systems.
Providing training and support to technical staff and users.
Ensure deliverables are met according to specifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Self-starter.
Demonstrated communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help support the project.
Ability to take ownership and responsibility of project assignments.

Skills Required

5 years - Experience with Windows File and Storage Services
5 years - Problem-solving skills including identification of issues, obstacles and opportunities and development and implementation of effective solutions
5 years - Experience with AD Directory Services
5 years - Experience with PowerShell Scripting
5 years - Experience with Pure1 Storage Array and Pure File Services
5 years - Experience working on Infrastructure projects
